ALL OF THESE

I fall in love with this song...

ALL OF THESE

Words & Music by Craig Curry

How vast His grace, how great His faithfulness

How deep His love, how rich His mercy

How high His thoughts, how sure His wisdom

And all of these, He gives to me

Chorus:

So I will praise Him, with every breath

For He has rescued me, from certain death

And now this life I live, I live in Him

O let His glory shine, while mine grows dim

How just His way (I was lost)

How good His discipline (with no where to turn)

How pure His truth (I never would have found my way)

How kind His goodness (without His hand)

How calm His peace (He reached down for me)

How long His patience (I’ll never understand how all of these)

And all of these (yes, all of these)

He gives to me

Back to chorus

How vast His grace (how broad His power)

How great His faithfulness (how grand His majesty)

How deep His love (how true His reign)

How rich His mercy (how bright His glory)

How high His thoughts (How strong His might)

How sure His wisdom (How clear His triumph)

And all of these (And all of these)

He gives to me

Back to chorus

Amen! Amen!

Prayer of Abandonment

I offer this prayer every morning, a prayer of abandonment by Charles de Foucald.

Father,
I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will.
Whatever you may do, I thank you:
I am ready for all, I accept all.
Let only your will be done in me, and in all your creatures.
I wish no more than this, O Lord.

Into your hands I commend my soul;
I offer it to you
with all the love of my heart,
for I love you, Lord,
and so need to give myself,
to surrender myself into your hands,
without reserve,
and with boundless confidence,
for you are my Father.

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

This is my favorite prayer. The prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi:

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

Psalm 23

This is my favorite passage in Holy Bible.

Psalm 23 (New International Version)
A psalm of David

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death*)
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Footnote:
Psalm 23:4 Or through the darkest valley

This passage makes me calm. I can feel peace in my heart after reading it everyday.

Forgive and Hate

Lately I found how hard to forgive. The more I try, the more I fail. The hate is so deep, that I can't forgive. There's a quote...

"To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover the prisoner was you"...

Gee, I'm a prisoner now. A prisoner of my hatred, my emotion and I can't let it go. What am I suppose to do? To forgive is not an easy thing. To forgive also means to forget. With an open wound like this, how can I forgive? How can I forget? I really want to learn . I want to forgive, so I can be free.

"God, please teach me to forgive as You have forgiven me."
